Letters from Gardner, Lou Antonelli (The Merry Blacksmith Press)
I have read She by H Rider Haggard. I have read His Family by Ernest Poole. I have read Old English epics and quirky small press modern poetry. I have experience slogging through cumbersome sentences. I find it extremely difficult to read Letters from Gardner. I think part of my issue with this memoir is that the author doesn’t understand the scope of his life or his work or even what he intends to write in this collection.
