In the beginning there were messages. So many forwarded messages. Threads & strings of messages.

Then there were links. One page to another in an infinite chain going in so many directions it formed a web.

Search engines cut through the paths. Transporters of information taking travelers from here to there with no steps between. No letters of introduction. No filters. No memory.

So how to get to the best places again & again? Share bookmarks? Link together another web? Is it about methodology or configuration? Style or content? A bit of both? I’m going to experiment.
